We boast of the good library facilites of our college. When the college was established in 1991, the library was installed in a single room of a school. The present college building was constructed in 1992. From 1992 to 1999, the library had to journey through various small and big rooms of the present college building. Fortunately, utilizing the UGC grant of Rs. 4,50,000/- and a matching share from the Management of Rs. 5,00,000/-, the present library was brought into existence on the second floor of the college building in the year 2000. The Management could give such a share because of the donation it received from Smt Sitaben Narandas Patel. Hence, it has been named Smt. Sitaben Naranbhai Patel Kanya College Library Hall. Donation for the library has been given by Smt. Neeruben Sureshbhai Patel, Smt. Bhagwatiben Vishnubhai Patel and Smt. Meenaben Mahendrabhai Patel in the memory of Smt. Sitaben Naranbhai Patel

The library covers a total area of 242.43 sq mts. It has three sections. The central section covering 98.23 sq mts consists of the librarian’s counter as well as the issuing counter and stack room. The left wing, covering an area of 72.10 sq mts is used as the Students’ Reading Room. For IT zone and e-resources, the library has 23 computers having unlimited internet facility along with INFLIBNET and 3 computers exclusively for OPAC. So, students can sit for hours on end for their project work taking help from e-resources. There are also facilities for printer and Photostat. The right wing of the same size is meant for the reading activities of teachers. There are 6 individual reading carrels, LCD projectors and interactive board for presentations and one sofa for relaxed reading. The library is becoming hi-tech with the help of computers, internet, N-List, LCD, interactive digital board, student kiosk, barcode reader, SOUL, OPAC and library related software. The library has started to make library administration paperless and make the library green and environment friendly.
